Michael and Carole Middleton have sold their Party Pieces business to a British entrepreneur, it has been announced. The party supplies business, which was launched in 1987, has been acquired by British entrepreneur James Sinclair following a period of financial uncertainty. Tatler Party Pieces suffered a significant knock to trade during the Covid pandemic, which put a stop to parties and celebrations for months at a time.
The Middletons claim they’re selling to see more of their grandchildren (and who could blame them!) but it looks much more likely they were in financial difficulties.
