As we reported yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the suspension of the New START nuclear arms treaty, the very last nuclear treaty in effect between the United States and Russia. The Russian leader also announced that new strategic nuclear weapons have been placed on ‘combat duty’ and his nation will resume nuclear testing if the U.S. does.
Former president Trump – the only president in this century not to have started a war – is speaking out about the increasingly strong prospect of a world war involving nuclear weapons. He condemns the Biden Administration for its obvious weakness. He also publicly confirmed that the US State Dept was behind the Maidan Uprising in Ukraine.
Euromaidan, or the Maidan Uprising, was a wave of demonstrations and civil unrest in Ukraine, which began on 21 November 2013 with large protests in Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv. The protests were sparked by President Viktor Yanukovych’s sudden decision not to sign the European Union–Ukraine Association Agreement, instead choosing closer ties to Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union.
Trump also announced that he would build an “impenetrable dome” over the U.S. if re-elected — to “protect our people” from the threat of nuclear attacks and World War III. He went on, “The best way to ensure that such a conflict never happens is to be prepared with unmatched technology and unrivaled strength.”
